Ezekiel 38-39.

Mr. Rhodes is without a doubt one of my favourite authors. I say this because of his faithfulness to study and properly interpret the Word of truth. II Timothy 2:15; 3:15-17. As Christians, we are expected, by faith, to believe the literal truth of God's word. Hebrews 11:1-3,6. We are never to add to or take away from God's Word. Deuteronomy 4:2; Proverbs 30:5-6; Revelation 22: 18-19.
For one who is not a Christian to read the first few chapters of this book should be enough to recognise the truthfulness of Scripture from Ch's 4 on through. This book should be a means of causing men and women to turn to Christ! I Peter 1:23; Hebrews 4:12. My personal idea regarding the world today is demonstrated in Romans ch. 1. v.24 "therefore God also gave them up..." v. 26 "For this reason God gave them up..." v.28"...God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting. I believe Canada & the United States is now under God's judgement and have been "given up!" God has also raised up wicked leaders who are of the same mind set of the people. Our educational systems have been saturated with the lie of evolution for years in order to accomplish the will of the atheists by getting rid of God in the minds of the people. Once they accomplished this, along comes relativism and no absolute truth, along with the lack of truth comes all manner of immorality until today we are like the days of Sodom & Gomorrah, and the days of Noah, which is where this world will be in regarding immorality just prior to our lord's second coming. Matthew 24: 36-39 cf. Genesis 6: 1-5; Luke 17:26-30 cf. Genesis ch's 18-19. see 18:20; 19:4-9; Jude. It seems when morality is at it's lowest, the wickedness of homosexuality begins to flower. We now live in a world where homosexuality is referred to as an alternative life style as men's hearts are hardened against the truth of God's Word. The murder of our children is now referred to as abortion, the slaughter of all others is now referred to as euthanasia. Evolution, which is the religion of the atheists, is referred to as science. The world is turning more hostile against Christians every day. John 15:18-20. We are nearing the end of this age. We no not the day or the hour but we do see the signs this very day. If these are the signs regarding the second coming, and the rapture preceads the tribulation period, and the rapture is imminent, I personally believe the rapture can happen any day! Since Israel's rebirth in one day on May 14th, 1948, Isaiah 66:8, and all the end times signs now here, there's nothing left to be fulfilled in prophecy before the rapture takes place. I personally believe this event Mr. Rhodes is speaking of in this book regarding Ezekiel 38-39 could take place before the rapture. If the rapture were to follow immediately after this event, the world would be absolutely devastated! Natural man can not understand or believe Scripture so is left to follow the dictates of his wicked heart. I Corinthians 1:18; 2:14.
Mr. Rhodes has done an excellent job as usual. Romans 12:7 He is faithful with the gift of teaching that God has given him, and we within the body of Christ should be grateful to our Lord for the honest teachers he has given us who give an accurate and honest exegesis of Scripture. There is so much apostasy within the churches today as they follow man and the works of the flesh. It is like the smell of fresh spring air or the drink of cool spring water to read a man who puts Scripture above man's ideas and agendas and faithfully interprets God's Word!
The war regarding Russia and her allies against Israel will be a large victory for the nation of Israel, who will not stand a chance! God will glorify Himself as He speedily wipes out all of Israel's enemies before their very eyes. Everything is now in place and it's not a matter of if but a matter of when they strike. The outcome is sure and God will be hallowed in Gog before their eyes - Ezekiel 38:16. He will make His Holy Name known in the midst of His people Israel. 39:7. The birds and wild animals will have a great feast on the enemies of Israel! 39:17-20. Although the first few chapters are terrifying to think about, for a Christian who knows Scripture, it just reaffirms their faith and security in God as we once again see the truthfulness of the prophecies of God's word being literally fulfilled before our eyes! We see this also in Romans 1:18-32. I highly recommend this book at any time and especially in these end times - Thank you Mr. Rhodes for your faithfulness. Bob Jones

Lisa Urry (Units 1-3) is a professor and developmental biologist, and recent Chair of the Biology Department, at Mills College. As a faculty member at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and UCSD, he has taught genetics, development, and physiology to undergraduate, graduate, and medical students. He has also served as the research mentor for more than a dozen doctoral students and more than 50 aspiring scientists at the undergraduate and high school levels. Steve has been the recipient of distinguished scholar awards from both the Markey Charitable Trust and the David and Lucille Packard Foundation. In 2007, he received UCSD’s Distinguished Teaching Award for undergraduate teaching.

Peter V. Minorsky
Peter Minorsky (Unit 6) is a professor at Mercy College in New York, where he teaches evolution, ecology, botany, and introductory biology. He received his B.A. in Biology from Vassar College and his Ph.D. in Plant Physiology from Cornell University. He is also the science writer for the journal Plant Physiology. After a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, Peter taught at Kenyon College, Union College, Western Connecticut State University, and Vassar College. He is an electrophysiologist who studies plant responses to stress. Peter received the 2008 Award for Teaching Excellence at Mercy College.

Robert B. Jackson
Rob Jackson (Unit 8) is a professor of biology and Nicholas Chair of Environmental Sciences at Duke University. Rob holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rice University, as well as M.S. degrees in Ecology and Statistics and a Ph.D. in Ecology from Utah State University. Rob directed Duke’s Program in Ecology for many years and just finished a term as the Vice President of Science for the Ecological Society of America. Rob has received numerous awards, including a Presidential Early Career Award in Science and Engineering from the National Science Foundation. He also enjoys popular writing, having published a trade book about the environment, The Earth Remains Forever, and two books of poetry for children, Animal Mischief and Weekend Mischief.
